Raja takes to alcohol after the death of his parents. However, his life takes a turn when his childhood friends reconnect with him.

A newly married woman begins to sleepwalk, and her husband suspects she is inadvertently connecting with a lover from a past life.

The film is based on the story Neotir Muchki Haanshi written by famous writer Sunil Gangopadhyay who wrote stories under the pen name Neel-Lohit. Neelohit, a young man, arrives in a village and meets a couple who mistake him for their missing son, Neelmoni. Later, he finds out that Neelmoni was engaged to a girl named Binti. The film promises to bring out the alter ego of this wandering soul.

Neel Seemana is a story about five ladies and their family. The name of this TV serial itself includes trhe prior pase of each of the lady's names.

Sleepwalker Sita Raichand (Waheeda Rehman) is rescued by Ram (Manoj Kumar) while walking on a railway track. Shortly thereafter Guruji (David) and Mr. Raichand (Balraj Sahni), approach Ram's mom (Lalita Pawar) with a marriage proposal. Finding the proposal suitable both Ram and his mom agree, and as a result Ram and Sita are married. After the marriage, Sita displays very strange behaviour, like walking away during the night for long durations. This increases the suspicions of everyone in Ram's household. Ram subsequently finds out that there is a lot more to Sita's disappearance than sleepwalking, as Sita seems attracted to someone else from a previous birth.

In the royal court of Janakgarh Mangal Singh revolts against his sisters husband Maharana Pragat Singh they escape in a temple to save their lives.The prince and his wife is killed by Mangal while his elder daughter manages to escape to her uncle Maharana Kharak Singh for help while the youngest manages to escape the temple and is taken care by a untouchable family and named Ganga (Kamal) .Kharak Singh kills Mangal Singh and gives to his niece.Ganga meets Madhusudan a stone craft artist and falls in love while her sister whose ruling the throne calls Madhusudan for art craft work in palace and also falls in love with him.

Devraj is a young boy living in the foothills of a mountain. His sister Paro falls ill and the only thing that can save her is a herb that grows beyond the blue mountain. Devraj readies to undertakes the perilous journey. Guided by the guardian spirit of his loving father who had died in an accident, the boy with his grandfather defies the odds and treacherous terrains to save the life of his sister. The film also stars Nasseruddin Shah.
